I saw a Thai article on this Wat Paknam 4th batch (on their Thai newspaper) that a lady wearing this amulet kena robbed by robbers and was shot a few shots by AK-47 go into hospital but the doctor was surpised that the bullets does not go inside her body!!! After that this amulet became so famous.
Paknam 4th batch was not made by Long Por Sod but his hair and robes are inside this amulet...still a very good amulet but still can't compare it with 1 - 3th batch which was made by Long Por Sod personally!

hey bro, from the pic u post. The Amulet u have is from a famous temple called Wat Pat Nam.The master that created with blessing is called Luang Phur Soot. But from from the pic really cant tell is it real or fake.During the early 90's was a collection piece. They come with diff batches and have story abt the pendant.Generally for good luck, safety and protection but thai monk never created any amulet for "side Line" so don't be misleaded by some saying. All the best!

The pic is taken from http://www.thaiamulet.com/, I have no digital camera or scanner at home, and the amulet is currently sealed in a gold casing custom made in Thailand...

The friend who gave me the amulet was a long acquaintance of mine who has been an avid Somdej collector for the past 30 years...he has over a collection of (I think) over 100 Somdej from different eras and travels frequently to Thailand.

If anyone's into Somdejs in Singapore for many years, you may know a man affectionately known as "LTC"...Ah Lim! :D

Just buy the one which Jackie Chan is wearing! He wore one is specially blessed. The rest sold in the market cannot be trusted. hi bro dizzy 88, u mention u go to temple meaning in sg or to the thai? care to share?

It you want to get buddhist amulets, and have no regards as to the dollar value of the amulet (just the blessings bestowed on it for you), you can proceed to any Thai Buddhist Temples in Singapore and seek out a monk there and ask for one.

Remember that Buddhist Amulets is a huge industry in Thailand, and monks are known to go to the "Amulet Market" to source for their own there as well...forgot the name of the place though.

Monks will willingly bless you with some of their own amulets and will bless your own amulets for you at the temples...seek them out if that's what you want.

Even the monk admitted they cant help coz Thai black magic is very powerful.. Unless of course u willing to travel all the way to Thai or maybe Cambodia..There are four people in Singapore (I have met all of them) can decast 'gorng-tau'. Not only that, there are some more people I have came across outside Singapore. One in Thailand, one in Indonesia and two in Malaysia.

Among the four 高人 in Singapore, one of them used to treat cancer and unfortunately don't do decasting evil spell ('解降') anymore. The other one may have some conditions doing 解降. The rest of the two...hum...先卖个关子。

Not many can '解降'. The one not power enough, he himself will sure 'kenna'. 法力不够降头术,解降的人必遭池鱼之殃!And this is the dangerous part!

Like that definitely a cheat. An amulet case will cost only around $10 odd dollars to do in Singapore...

On to Exorcism, I remembered Singapore FHM also got one article, about this Sifu who owns 2 shops in Katong Shopping Centre; it's called "Ghost Buster". Maybe can check him out...

Woah...smelt fish...and now I know...it's some mangali fish seller!

Anyway, I understand that some amulets (mostly ones made of metal) have a little free-falling ball-bearing sealed inside the amulet. When you enter a "dirty place", the ball-bearing was purported to shake vigorously in the amulet causing a "ding-ding" sign to warn you of impending danger.

However, it's not understood if the amulet after warning you would provide you with any kind of protection, if any....

Phra Khun Pean with Gumantong underneath.. Not exactly a standard collector item amulet.

If it's just a small crack, it's okay. If the whole amulet breaks into half, then it's pretty useless.

Khun Pean is the name of an Ayuthaya warrior who lived over 400 years ago. He is also the inventor of the infamous Guman Thong (Ghost child). Being a general, he wins in every battle he engaged in especially with the help of his guman thong.

Most people wear Khun Pean for its strong metta especially towards the opposite sex. However, your outflow of $$ will be very huge too. But it often give you lottery luck. Those who are doing illegal sidelines often wear Khun Pean.

However, the figure in the amulet is still Lord Buddha. So don't be mistaken that the figure is a General.

For standard collector items, the base should be a large lotus but it is often mistaken for Guman Thong.

My 2 cents worth.

This amulet is Long Phor Sor-tong. A Police year amulet (Chief of Police ordered to make this amulet) worth to collect!!! :D

Phra Sothon is one of the most revered images in Thailand. The most revered is Phra Keow (Emerald Budhha) followed by Phra Chinnarat. The next will be Phra Sothon.

The legend of Sothon is as follows:

Legend says that there were three bronze cast Buddha images floating down from Prachin Buri and they appeared at Sampathuan County of Chachoengsao.

The villagers, after recognizing the situation, tied the three images with ropes and tried to pull them out of the water but they didn't succeed. The three images continued floating downstream. The big one later appeared at Ban Laem of Samut Songkhram where the people of Ban Laem enshrined him at Wat Ban Laem. The small one appeared and was enshrined at Wat Bang Phli of Samut Prakan.

The medium sized one, Luang Pho Sothon, appeared in front of Wat Sothon. The people helped and put their efforts to pull it up from the water but they did not succeed the first time, Then a man having good mind power built up a small shrine for a ceremony paying homage to Phra Phuttha Sothon; they invited him and pulled him up to be enshrined at Wat Sothon successfully as can be currently seen.

There are two annual fairs celebrating Luang Pho Sothon; one falls on the middle of the 12th lunar month and the other on the middle of the 5th lunar month.

My 2 cents worth..

The images taken are very blurred.. but from the general outlook, this looks like a Wat Paknan batch 6.

This batch is not very rare but still there are fakes.

Wat Paknam amulets are generally very good for wearing as they have to undergo 3 months of non-stop chanting before letting go to the public.

My 2 cents worth..

totally agreed with bros say here, 1st dun expect to get a old, solid amulet from the thai temple here, unless u r lucky and 2nd is that u must know the right person to get it from. (in any sector is all the same, must know the right person to get thing done), sadly in this case also apply to getting amulet from the temlpe.

So far, my personal recommendation is a good Khun Pean to bring metta and gambling luck (especially 4D). However, wearing KP often means your money flows out of pocket very fast. To counter this spending, we normally wear an equally good Thung Sethi Phra Leela or Soomkor to curb the spending.

My best experience so far is the famous Phra Khun Paen Prai Kuman, Luang Poo Thim from Wat Laharnrai. It is one of the best new-age Khun Paen around.

If you are in Bangkok, go to Wat Arun and look for the Somdej Kaiser. It is one of the best Somdejs amulets ever conscreated in the past 20 years. The material itself took 25 years to collect and the conscretion took 3 years. Cheap and good.

Ehh.. i jus went to visit a shifu at fu lu shou... ask me to go pray "Rahu"
Can anyone tell mi more about "Rahu" ?? Katong got his temple rite ??? Anyone got his amulet ? I read that if the talisman craved out from single-eyed coconut shell is very rare...

Rahu is a devil which steal the holy water and drink it so he became immortal...Lord Vishnu chop off his head but he never die due to he became immortal liao...later he became Vishnu (also know as Narai) servent.
When one is in very bad luck, he can wear Rahu..coz he will eat away all bad luck...but one is in good luck, he better dun wear Rahu as he will eat it away too. The only way to counter is to wear Rahu together wif Narai.

Somdej Song Kaiser (Wat Arun) is very expensive now in Singapore. A small pim cost around $150, medium pim cost $350 and big pim cost $600!!!
Kena fried until so expensive, I rather get LP Tim (Wat Lahanrai), LP Obesee stuff.

so bro vigin lover, back in Thai the price should be around there right, maybe abit cheaper. wil what can i do about it, if too x also cant afford it man. :D anyway thank for helping.. i cant find this 'Wat Lahanrai' in bangkok lei? it is in bangkok??

All along i thought Rahu is help to eat away ur bad luck but i didnt know that it will eat away our gd luck too.... i have been wearing it alone, hm... think got to pair it up with Narai (it is the lady with right hand slightly move up to chest level? ) liao.

The lady wif a hand lifted up is known as Nangkwak, she is not Rahu.

Sorry bro,
as far as wat i know, Phra RaHu is not a devil. he is one of the king's loyal bodyguards. one day, a rival of rahu set rahu up and framed rahu thus misleading the king. the king, being mislead, beheaded rahu and as rahu is a very loyal bodyguard, soon the thruth is out... rahu was being framed.
the king pardon him and the heavens confer him a "dewa" heaven body guard.

THAT'S IS WHY ALL RAHU AMULETS GOT NO BODY ONLY HEAD!!!
In other meaning it's meant to bless it's wearer "Bi xiao ren" or the chinese say "tai sui ye" or "Tian Gou Shi Yue"... as for some ppl say it will eat ur good luck, i dont really think so as i am a collecter of Phra Rahu. and thru out the years i very good leh...

to all Bros' i think post pics here not really a good idea.
why dont we meet up and we will know who's lyling and who's having the real stuffs and the real experience to see / examine amulets. :D

I dun think Wat Paknam still have Paknam 4th batch anymore...the street price of a normal pim Paknam 4th is about $250.
AC Nong M16 LP Thuat is not an expensive amulet but it is very good for avoiding danger! I also have his bullet trutkut.
If you are really keen, I still have a AC Nong M16 to let go, pls pm me if you are interested, thanks!

ps You can forget about going to Thai temples now in Thailand and expect to find a classic and old pcs there...sad but true.

No, AC Nong M16 LP Thuat is not made of bullet shell. It is named M16 becoz of one incident that a lady wearing this amulet kena shoot by robbers with M16 but the bullet never entered her body...so this is why this amulet got its name.

yes bro sacs, the so call '4 face buddha' in Thailand is actually the hindu deity 'brahma' or Phra Phom as what thais call. Thailand's buddhism has a very strong Hindu or Brahmism influences and practice from India, i think it is pass down from Cambodia if im not wrong. correct me if im.

Phra Phom is a very good example but unfortunately, i can say that it is a 'forgotten' deity in actual hindusim now. other example will be like.... ganesa (the elephant god, i don't know the name in thai), hanuman (the monkey god in the hindu tale Ramayana, i think thais call thie deity the same as hindu), Lingu (im not sure if i have got the hindu name right, it is the shape of the male reproductive organ. i was told it represent lord Siva). correct me if im wrong again bros.

im a buddhist n chinese but i have been very interested in buddhism as well as hinduism.

Casing for 20 bucks is way too expensive liao...you can get the casing for only $6. Normally, I don't trust those people from pasir malam how good amulets can they have???

Hi all,

I wanna buy a thai amulet for my friend (Caucasian) as a memento. Can anyone recommend where I can buy a cheap one (say $20-30)?

The criteria are that it should be authentic and it should work well.
It should also bless the wearer with general protection and perhaps money if possible.

Can you guys give me a few names for a suitable amulet and where i can buy them?

I am not sure bro. What i mean it should be authetic as in a monk chanted at it or something like that. Correct me if i am wrong, I thought only the first few versions cost a few hundred dollars. I was under the impression that the say 10th batch by the same temple should be cheaper...

I meant it as a gift so I wanna be sincere in giving but perhaps not extravagant. :D

i have heard that when u buy amulets in provinces they actually bring the amulet into the open fields and fire shots at it. if it does not hit the amulet then u buy else u can negate the deal. apparently the genuine/good amulet can "make" bullets miss even though fired at close range. this means the amulet can protect the wearer.

is there any basis of truth to this? appreciate if bros can shed some light on this. tks!

Not really true lo...you really can't judge how good or bad a amulet is by the 'gun' test. It all depends on Karma also ma...keke...but I know some amulets tat have the properties of 'Kong-ka-pan' (protection) and they are LP Thuat m16 by Archan Nong, Wat Paknam 4th batch, LP Obasee... :)
A Paknam 4th batch would cost around $300 - $500 in Singapore depending on condition, there is a speical pim which is even more expensive. This Paknam 4th batch was made in 2514 (about 34 years ago). If you have the connection, you can get around $100 plus. Beware of this amulet as there are many fakes in the market.

Not true lo...Long Poo Thim made Kun Pean Pai-Kuman with a Kumantong under the throne of Lord Buddha. It is also damn expensive sia...about $5000 only come second to 400 years old Mang-Kang Kun Pean.

4th batch was made more than 30 years ago using old powder of the 3rd batch and also have Long Poo Sod's hair and holy powder. And also 4th batch had been chanted for 3 mths b4 releasing it to the public! Now it had become a collectors item so the price is higher coz everyone is looking for it.
7th batch is a new one also made in Wat Paknam but does not have the old powder...not really a collectors choice as it is new..but for wearing should be fine.
I think I saw one shop in Fu Luo Shou 3nd floor selling Thai amulets, he have the Paknam 3, 4, 6 and 7 batch. You can drop by and see see look look lo...

Bro, Paknam 4th batch is not a easy amulet to id real or fake coz there are so many different pim (at least 30 moulds). However, some of the low-end fakes, I can easily know that it is fake without even to look at it in mag glass. In Singapore, it is damn expensive lo..
But one word of advice, if you can afford Paknam 4th batch why not get other better amulet for the same price of it? Paknam 4th batch is not chanted by LP Sod as by that time, he already passed away.
If you are really that keen and insisted on Paknam 4th, I can intro my friend to you.

I dont mind paying for the price if it is a real Wat Paknam 4th batch, every quality has its prices.

ya, bro vigin lover. i have heard about the phra khun paen you have mentioned. made by LP Thim, the one with lord buddha and a kumantong under it. actually.... i have 1 of this amulet hahahahaha but im damn sure it is a fake cause i was told that this amulet is like... impossible to get now even with $. those collector that has this amulet will not sell it as i was told it is a really good amulet as well as a damn good investment. anyway, i brought this amulet about.... 4-5 yrs ago in a Wat in bkk. sorry, i don't know how to post pic here if not i can show u guys.

well... a more common phra khun pean will be the lord buddha amulet from a a Wat in supanburi where it is Khun pean hometown, sorry can't remember the name of the Wat. any bro interested in Phra Khun pean story should buy the thai movie 'Khun Pean', its really nice movie especially for bros in this thread. i even shows Khun Pean making Kumantong and how Kumantong help him in the war. the best part i like is in the end where he release his Kumantong to be free and u can see the Kumantong turning from a devilish monster into a cute boy and going free.

Some Khun Paen Guman Thong info to share......

There are 6 major Khun Paen amulets found in Chedis of old temples, all are of Buddhistic art of Ayuthaya period, namely:
a) Khun Paen Kluab (Enameled), Wat Yai Chai Mongkol, Ayuthaya ( kaolin / enameled)
b) Khun Paen Bai Phut Sa , Wat Yai Chai Mongkol ( baked clay, and lead/ tin-based alloy) c) Khun Paen Wat Ban Krang, Wat Ban Krang, Suphanburi ( baked clay )
d) Khun Paen Khai Pha, Wat Phra Roop, Suphanburi ( baked clay)
e) Khun Paen Kru Monthien, Ayuthaya ( baked clay )
f) KhunPaen Kru Wat Ratchaburana, Ayuthaya ( lead/tin-based alloy)

After a long years of arguments and debates with Khun Paen amulet experts, now comes a summary that Khun Paen Guman Thong assumingly has two origins:

1) It might come from the misinterpretation of the lotus bases of Khun Paen Khai Pha as a lying baby

2) The other source with more reliable evidences say that it comes from Khun Paen legendary biography that Guman Thong is Khun Paen's mighty son and often called by his father to perform miraculous activities. Since Guman Thong life and his mighty emerged from Buddhistic magics and Kathas, so his small figure is put underneath Lord Buddha image on Khun Paen Guman Thong amulet; in this case sometimes Lord Buddha image is subjectively interpreted as Khun Paen.

Amulets of Khun Paen Guman Thong have been created for more than 50 years since mid 2490s up until now. As told by a close disciple of LP Tae Kong Thong: LP Tae was once asked about Guman Thong figure appearing on an amulet underneath the Buddha lotus seat, LP Tae replies, " Whatever form of a Guman Thong might be, it doesn't matter at all--because the most important thing is that how the consecrator monks bless it. "

In around B.E.2470, a few years after LP Dha passing away, LP Tae went to learn higher Dhamma, magical knowledges and GumanThong making from LP Chaem of Wat Takong who was a greatest Guru in the WWII period. LP Tae made both holy powder table-sized GumanThong and small-sized wood carving item for wearing. LP Tae passed away in B.E. 2524 at the age of 90.

The Making of Pra Khun Paen Plaai Guman

Phra Khun Paen Phong Paai Guman was created by Luang Poo Tim Wat Lahanlaai, District Bahn Kaai in Rayong Province.
Amulets created and chanted by Luang Poo Tim are very popular and expensive because his amulets are proven to be good and experienced by many people who wore his amulets.
One of the most popular amulet chanted by Luang Poo Tim is Phra Khun Paen Phong Paai Guman. But is very difficult to find a genuine one as there are lots of fakes one. Another name for this amulet is called Phra York Khun Pon Haeng Bahn Kaai which means the Number One in Bahn Kaai District.
Luang Poo Tim ever mentioned that this Phra Khun Paen is good and asked people to keep it. Luang Poo supervised closely during the making this batch of amulets in the temple.Besides being proven in Metta Mahahiyom, Metta Mahahsane, it also helps one doing business , sales and success in everything you wish to do.
The making of this batch of Khun Paen followed the ancient way of making Phra Khun Paen. The ancient way of making Phra Khun Paen, in this century, only Luang Por Te, Wat Sahm Ngan and Luang Poo Tim Wat Lahanlaai have the ability to make and chant.
Luang Poo Tim was a monk who practised diligently and was a very good monk. He possessed little worldly materials. He was a vegetarian, having only vegatable, salt, chilly one meal a day. In his hut where he stayed, he only has a pillow and a mat, but no electricity. He lived a simple life.
Phra Khun Paen Phong Paai Gumahn is a kind of amulet that is very difficult to make. If it is ever created and chanted properly, the amulet possesses a lot of "power". This is because the amulet will possess the spirit of the Gumahn.
A disciple of Luang Poo Tim named Kon Kulahp, who was a care-taker. One day, Luang Poo Tim asked Kon Kulahp to find a pregnant woman corpse. The condition had to be that the pregnant woman must die on Saturday and crement on Tuesday. Luang Poo told Kon Kulaph, if he ever found the pregnant woman corpse, Luang Poo asked him to removed the powder (Paai Gumahn) from the head of the child from the stomach of the woman. Kon Kulaph went alone and found what Luang Poo Tim wanted. While he was removing the powder, he must not turn his head backwards. This was the instruction from Luang Poo Tim.Kon Kulaph passed the Paai Gumahn to Luang Poo. Luang Poo Tim used special kathah to prevent the spirit leaving from the Paai Gumahn by chanting for 7 days. after 7 days, Luang Poo passed the Paai Guamhn back to Kon Kulaph and asked him to make it into more powdery by pounding on it. While Kon Kulaph was pounding on it, there was sparks that came out from the Paai Gumahn. Kon Kulaph was frightened and quickly reported to Luang Poo Tim. Luang Poo asked him to burn incense and asked for forgiveness. Then, Kon Kulaph was abled to pound it.Luang Poo Tim mixed the Paai Guman powder with Itije powder, Patamang powder, Prawai powder, Jindahmanee powder, 108 types of herbs powder and many other types of powder. After Luang Poo Tim had mixed the plaai Gumahn powder with the rest of the various types of powder,
Luang Poo started to chant the Pra Khun Paen. Luang Poo would make a few a day, and chant them slowly in his room. There are 2 different mould in this batch of amulets; Pim Yai (Big Mould) and Pim Lek (Small Mould). The mould that was used to make the amulets followed the design of ancient Pra Khun Paen design, but with a slight differences.
Luang Poo Tim called this batch of amulet as Pra Khun Paen Plaai Guman. The size of the Pim Yai is 3.5cm in length and 2 cm in width. The front design of the amulet is a Buddha sitting in sammahdti. On the left and right are 2 Guman Tong in praying position and hands in "wai" position. At the back, is the famous Luang Poo Tim's Yan Hah that represents the 5 past Buddha (Prajow Hah Pra Ong); Na Moh Put Ta Ya. On the right is an inscription of the name "Luang Poo Tim", on the left is "Itsarigoh". Below is an inscription of the temple name "Wat Lahanlaai".The size of the Pim Lek is 2 cm in length and 1 cm in width. The front design of the amulet is a Buddha sitting in sammahdti in full lotus position. Below the Buddha is a sleeping Guman. On the left and right are 2 Nang Kwak, hand in "Kwak" position. The 2 Nang Kwak and a sleeping Guman Tong were used as part of the design because Nang Kwak is believed to give luck and the Guman Thong give Metta Mahahsene (loving kindness). The back of the amulet is a Yan Hah. Below the Yan Hah is the inscription "Luang Poo Tim Wat Raiwahree". Wat Raiwahree is the old name of Wat Lahanlaai. Both Pim Yai and Pim Lek, were made many times and were not made in a single day, because Luang Poo would chant them slowly once the amulet was made. The colour of each amulets has a slight different. This is due to the amulets being hand made by his disciples; different amount of powder and different pressure when his disciples pressed into the mould. But every amulets surely has the Plaai Guman powder, because Luang Poo Tim had personally put the Plaai Guman powder during the last stage of making the amulets, which is after his disciples had applied the other types of materials. If you used a magnifiying glass to look at some of the amulets, sometimes you can see red dots, hairs and even nails. Some Pim Yai, mostly the Neua Khaow(White Material), have a pair Sahligah Takruk which was inserted by Luang Poo Tim after the amulets were chanted. A layer of gold paint was applied on to the Pim Yai Neua Khaow after the insertion of the takruk A total of 2000 pieces of Pra Khun Paen Phong Plaai Gumahn Pim Yai was created and chanted, consisted of Pim Yai with Sahligah Dtagru and Pim Yai without Sahligah Dtagru. Pim Yai with Sahligah Dtagru has around 200 pieces; some have a pair of Sahligah Dtagru and some have only one Sahligah Dtagru.Pim Lek has 5000 pieces, but without Sahligah Dtagru at all. There are around 20 pieces of Pim Lek which used the Wahn Mahahsene powder and Wahn Dtocktorng powder. These are special powder and are hard to find, especially the Wahn Dtorng material. The colour of Wahn Dtocktorng is light yellow in colour. The Wahn Dtocktorng Pim Lek is the best among all the other powder of this batch of Pra Khun Pae, as it believes that this Wahn Dtocktorng Pim Lek produces that best Metta, but it is hardest to find and most expensive.
When Luang Poo Tim was giving out this batch of amulet, Luang Poo would give Pim Yai to the male devotees and Pim Lek to the female devotees.
Luang Poo Tim ever mentioned to his close disciple, that this batch of Pra Khun Paen is very good and will be hard to find in the future. What Luang Poo said 20 over years ago comes true now, because it is hard to find a genuine Pra Khun Paen either Pim Yai or Pim Lek now. If someone wants to find a genuine piece now, it is very very hard.
In the past, not many people took an interest in this Pra Khun Paen, even as Luang Poo Tim himself gave them out personally..The Pim Yai cost only 20 bahts and Pim Lek 10 bahts at that time. But now, a Pim Yai costs above a few 10,000 bahts to 100,000 bahts for a genuine piece in good condition. Pim Lek is not cheap as well, at least costs a few 10.000 bahts also. When people has good experiences while wearing this Pra Khun Paen, they related their experiences to other people. That is why this Pra Khun Paen became so popular and is in high demands because of the many good experiences that have happened to the wearers. Many people are curious, besides Pra Khun Paen Plaai Gumahn, what other batches of amulets that Luang Poo Tim chanted so far had added with the Phong Plaai Guman. Besides this batch of Pra Khun Paen, there are many other batches of amulets that were added this Phong Plaai Gumahn. They are, Pra Nangpayah batch, Pra Plaai Buar, Pra Plaai Pekt, Pra Chimplee(also called Pra Mahahseewaleetheroh), Pra Pidta, Pra Somdej and Pra Kring Chinabahnchorn.
Every batches of the amulet mentioned are added with the Phong Plaai Guman powder. As for Pra Kring Chinabahnchorn, the Phong Plaai Guman was added below the amulet.Once, his disciple Kon Gulahp asked Luang Poo Tim why Luang Poo has to use the skull of the dead child for making amulets. Luang Poo Tim answered him that:"Really is the skull of a spirit and not the skull of a child because this child has not been born yet. This child still has bad karma, which caused him to die before he is born. Thus when we used the skull to make amulets, it is to help the spirit of this child to have good merits. When one uses the amulet with his skull's Phong (powder), and has good experiences and protects him, this is like a merit for the child because he has helped the person who wears this amulet made of his skull's Phong.
This merit gained will help the dead child to re-incarnate a good birth in his next life"Luang Poo explained further:"When we plant a tree, we want to eat the fruits quickly. This is similiar to wearing amulet; when we wear amulet, we want the amulet to have merits and power to help us and protect us.
When one wears this Pra Khun Paen Plaai Gumahn, the merits will come from Buddha and the power will come from the Plaai Guman."Therefore, Pra Khun Paen Plaai Guman has lots of stories of good experiences from the people who wear it always.

hi Bros,

wanna share a experience i had with KMT. well... not actually what i have encounter but what i have saw. this yr Jan, i was in bkk looking for a lady friend of mine. on 1 nite out, she brought along a 'katoy' (ladyboy) friend of her. we went for a few round of drinks and pub hopping. lastly, we settle down for supper. after makan, the katoy wish to treat us and she (she is post-op) ask the waiter for the bill. after paying the $ to the waiter and as the waiter is walking alway, she suddenly shout to the waiter to bring another dessert and a red fanta. i was surprised and i ask my friend that wow! she can really eat. my friend smile and say 'her son wanna eat 1'. ??? at 1st i dun really understand and finally, my friend told me that katoy's KMT wanna eat and the KTM like red things. the dessert is red also. i ask the Katoy to let me see her KMT. at 1st she refused but in the end, she bring out from her handbad 2 KMT. 1 is a small golden KMT and another small like... test tube with some weird stuff in it with some yellow water.

The Katoy drives us home and she went back home herself. at home, my friend told me that her have many encounters with this Katoy's KMT at her house or even while traveling in her car. she can feel someone else in the car sometimes.

This Katoy is not really very pretty, not bad looking but i must say she has this kinda of strange attraction when looking at her. this katoy have a farang husband who gives her $ every month a buy her house and buy her car and even give her $ to study english. btw, this farang knows she is post-op. my friend told me this katoy is very into... this kinda 'act'. she use to travel to really remote places for rituals to make people attracted to her at sight.

well.. this is all i have to share for now. but on this same trip, my friend brought me to the famous 'nang nak' (the movie) shrine. outside the nang nak shrine is a Wat (duno the name of the Wat) that has a REAL dead body of a baby for praying. she told me this baby is very famous in thailand and have many story. she herself have encounter something the 1st time she is there. well... any bro knows about this? i forgot the name of this baby is like ..... XXX ka nong... something like that. will tell u guys about this baby maybe tomorrow.

cheers

Long Poo Pae of Wat Pitkunthong is more famous for making Somdej, your Kun Paen that made by him is not as famous and the demand of it isn't high, but no doubt, it is still a good amulet to wear.
Besides LP Pae, I would recommend you to collect amulets from some of the last generation masters like LP Thim, LP Obasee, LP Kasem, LP Sod, LP Parn and etc.

Classic... :D

I used to have a kaki, he was in Reservist and one night in the toilet his amulet "rang"...he felt a presence, but what to do, in camp mah. He fell sick for the following 3 days... Does this mean that the amulet cana forewarn you, but can't actually protect you...against dirty things, except danger where the amulets will buffer the impact...

lol...the amulets have already protected your friend. who know what will he get if he did not wear them? sick for 3 days is better than become stupid stupid for 1 month, right?

ultimately, is have a grateful heart towards everything.

Cheers.

You need to have 10K and above to look for Archan Toh amulet.
Sad to say, many ppl like to live in their own dreams and claiming that they owned a Somdej WRK made by Archan Toh about a 100 yrs ago. Some even encase it wif gold casing. Too bad, they are living inside their own fantasy land. There are a guy even more funny, he told me that he bought a Wat Paknam 1st batch in Bangkok for only S$100plus, do you think it is possible??? He enclose it in gold case somemore...Ppl will have knowledge will know that Wat Paknam 1st batch would cost at least 10K and above...and do you think those Thais are fools???
I had came across too much of those proud people till I damn sian liao...to me, my amulets may not be high-end but at least they are real pcs and not fakes. So I hope people would wake up from their Wat Rakang dreams!

"Archan" means teacher in Thai, not really need to be a white robe one.
His name is Somdej Phra Buddhajarnto

i'm interested in Archan Nong BE2514/B.E.2540 Phra Luang Poo Thuat amulets because each amulet has a Narai Plaeng Roop Dtakut inserted which is very good for Metta, protection from danger. This Dtakut can help to prevent black magic and evil spirit.
wonder how much is these batch cost ?

Normally their temple will have ppl selling their amulets made by LP for donation.
I met quite alot of good and great monks like LP Pern, LP Koon, LP Keow and they gave me amulets/takuts without even asking me for any donations. :D

Pidta is actually one of the disciple of Lord Buddha.

The holy script is called Yant and it is normally in Pali.
And tatoo this holy script is called Sak-Yant in Thai.
There are many ppl in Sg whereby those Thai amulet shop-owners invited those LP or Archan (white robe) to their shop and do service for their devotees.
Dun even tatoo animals (hunuman, garuda) and Rishi one on your body coz alot of things cannot do.
