Democracy is not riot and protest in public n harming others, affecting others livelihood directly or indirectly. A lot of shop owners are losing money daily. A lot of injuries n dead. Thai economic is in shit, with this it is worse.

Majority of Thais dun bother about who is the govt. They are more concern of daily life... Politicians are dirty people, whoever in the govt will be the same craps.

The army chief is another piece of crap. He should get involved, not to support a party but to stop all these craps in public, bring peace back to Thailand... Put both idiots on the table and nego, if 1 still give craps in public, suppress him/her.

It is always stupid n idiotic seeing Thais harm Thais... These ppl are laughable in public.

Anyway as a foreigner, I dun give a damn who is right who is wrong... I am more concern for my friends n love ones in Thailand.

Most Thai's I spoke with don't really bother about who is running the country, despite all the black anti-amnesty logos you see displayed on all your Thai friend's Facebook profile picture, so long as their livelihoods are not affected. Already some shops & businesses have to shut down due to the fighting so that can't make them too happy. Thais are opportunists and the opportunity to make Bht2,000/day (approx SGD80) when average daily wage is about Bht200 to Bht300/day is quite tempting even if you declare yourself "red".

Maybe some cheer to chiongster's wondering what to do tonight. Well, a friend of mine went to Soi Cowboy last night and all bars were open albeit a little quieter than usual. Just be careful if you plan to head out tonight.

In bkk now and tmr will be going back to city in law CM....walk pass central world in front of Thai police HQ saw some protest but still peaceful in this shopping area, only less people shopping for now.....
